Brand Ambassador Reviews the 2 Tone Polo Shirt

We had a lovely chat with our Brand Ambassador, Pauline Flavelle recently, and we had her review our stunning 2 Tone Polo Shirt. The polo features two flattering tones of blue, ideal for perfecting your autumn and winter wardrobe. Here’s what she had to say:

How did you find the fit of the garment and would you like to see any changes to the fit? What do you think of the shaped side panels and do you think they gave the garment a more feminine look?

“This polo shirt was a nice shape and a very good fit, nice and neat at the hips without being too clingy or figure hugging. The sleeves were slightly long for me but easy to turn up without spoiling the general appearance of the garment. The body length was just right. It finished about mid hip. I like the panels as it added a touch of femininity to the garment.”

Do you like the 2 tone blue colouring? Are there any other colours that you would like to see? Would you like to see this style in a printed design?

“The contrast of the two tone colouring was very appealing; otherwise the polo would have been very plain. I think it would be lovely in many colours, such as pink, olive, mauve, turquoise, coffee and cream. I also think it would be lovely in a printed design. It could be a printed body with plain side panels and collar, or even two toning prints.”

What are your thoughts on the fabric (i.e weight, feel) and do you like the slight stretch achieved with the use of 10% elastane?

“The fabric is a good weight for the start of the autumn season. Warm enough for a slightly cooler day when heavy garments are not needed. The slight stretch adds to the comfort and improves the fit.”

We feel this garment is great for on and off the golf course, where did you wear yours? And, what did you wear with it?

“I wore this on the course with navy trousers. I also think it would be very nice with grey trousers with a small check or fine stripe of grey or navy with a touch of blue. This polo is a little too sporty for me to wear away from the golf course, but it would probably be very nice with dark denim jeans or navy lounging pants.”

In brief, describe this garment in your own words

“This is a long sleeved golfing polo shirt in a nice cheerful colour. The contrasting collar and side panels add extra interest. The material contains elastane for ease of movement. It is a great weight for this time of year, providing a little extra warmth without too much bulk.”

How do you feel after your game in this garment in terms of comfort and ease of movement?

“Generally a very comfortable garment. There is no restriction to the swing and the garment does not ride up either when swinging the club or when bending up and down. It was thick enough to withstand today’s windy conditions and warm enough in today’s temperature of about 15 degrees.”

We think Pauline looks lovely in our 2 Tone Polo Shirt. What’s your favourite garment to wear on the golf course? Let us know in the comments below.
