Brand Ambassador Reviews the Sleeveless Pique Blouson and Maisie Trousers

Our Brand Ambassador Sue Ridout has been kind enough to review two of our garments for us: our gorgeous Sleeveless Pique Blouson, which is available in five bright colours at £30, and our stylish black and white checkered Maisie Trousers, available at a reduced price of £57. Here is what Sue had to say:

Blouson

Do you like the hemband? It is designed with comfort and modesty in mind. Did it remain in position on your swing?

“Yes it remained in position on my swing. The body length was enough to give all round movement with modesty.”

Do you like the fabric i.e, weight, feel and texture? It is 95% cotton with 5% elastane for ease of movement.

“The elastane gives the fabric a lighter feel in its weight. It makes the garment breathable and cooling.”

Do you normally wear sleeveless tops? How did this fit around the armhole? Do they fit in with your Golf Club’s dress code?

“Yes on hot sunny days I wear a sleeveless top, which is perfect for my club’s dress code.”

In brief, describe this garment in your own words.

“A lightweight feel that allows plenty of movement with all modesty.”

How do you feel after your game in this garment in terms of comfort and ease of movement?

“The garment was loose enough and light enough not to be clingy when hot after a game.”

Trousers

These are designed to fit just below your natural waistline. Is this where they fitted on you and were they comfortable? Do you like the style or do you prefer them to sit on your natural waistline?

“With age my natural waistline has all but gone, but the trousers fitted perfectly and were very comfortable.”

The fabric is lightweight with a bit of stretch. Did you like weight and did you feel that it hung well? What do you think of the feel of the fabric?

“Yes I liked the weight and they hung very well. The feel was great, particularly for summer weather.”

Do you like the leg fitting? How did they fit you? Do you prefer slimmer or wider legs?

“The leg fitting was perfect and the fit for me was perfect. I would not like a slimmer leg.

Did you use the rear welt pocket? Would you prefer 2 back pockets or no pockets?

“I never use a back pocket, but many of our players do.”

“Smart. Very smart. These trousers will not only be worn for golf.”

How do you feel after your game in this garment in terms of comfort and ease of movement?

“The ease of movement and comfort is good. I had a number of compliments on their looks and on the feel of the material. They looked as pristine at the end of my game as they did at the start.”
