Brand Ambassador Yvonne Greaves reviews the Jess ¼ Zip Sweater
We are pleased that our lovely Ambassador Yvonne Greaves recently reviewed our Jess Sweater. Here are her comments on the garment.
The neckline has been created to cause less bulk under the chin – what do you think of it and do you like the ¼ zip fastening?
I like the neckline style which is very comfortable, especially as it lies flat and does not rub against the neck or chin. The ¼ zip makes the sweater very smart and easy to wear. I also think a full length zip would look good too.
Are there are other colours you think would suit this style and would you prefer the sweater to have more cable detail?
The sweater would look good in navy or perhaps a silver grey. The pattern is, I think, ideal as it is – just enough cables to make it look slimming.
What are your thoughts on having pockets in cardigans and sweaters and in particular in this sweater?
I think this sweater is better without pockets as they could make it look a bit chunky. I think probably cardigans and sweaters lie flatter without pockets and personally I prefer to have pockets in trousers.
When you wore this sweater where did you wear it and what did you wear it with?
I wore it on the golf course but I will have pleasure in wearing it on many other occasions such as meeting up with friends for coffee or when I go shopping. I teamed my sweater with a pair of dark navy trousers.
How did you feel after your game of golf in terms of comfort?
Absolutely fine. The sweater is light to wear and although it keeps one nice and warm, it is not too heavy and therefore doesn’t make you feel too hot. It fitted me very well and was so easy to move in – very comfortable.
Overall, what did you think of the sweater?
A lovely, warm, comfortable and easy to wear sweater. I felt good in it and my husband also thought it looked good! I will take it with me when we next go away as it will be so comfortable whether I play golf or just go walking or out for a meal.
