Hannah Ralph finishes in the Top Three!

Fantastic golf news for England’s Ladies

English golfer, Hannah Ralph, finished in third place at the Ladies Slovak Open in June. Part of the Ladies European Tour, the Slovakian tournament was held at the Golf Resort Tale in Brenzo. This is Hannah’s best career finish in the LET and as sponsors, we’re very proud.

Eastbourne girl Hannah, is 25 years old. She’s been playing at Cowdray Park Golf Club since the age of 8, when she had her first lesson with Pro Richard Gough. At the age of 10, she got her first handicap of 45 and reduced it by 19 shots in a year! Just some of Hannah’s career achievements include five holes-in-ones, representing Sussex Ladies in the first team between the age of 15 and 21, and Hannah has held the course record at her home course in September 2011.

Hannah finished the Ladies Slovak Open with a score of 72 72 73 68, landing her shared third place with Scotland’s Sally Watson. She was 4 shots behind England’s Melissa Reid in second place, and 8 shots behind Camilla Lennarth from Sweden who won the tournament, her first win in the Ladies European Tour.

After the last round, Hannah told the LET:

“It was a really good week. I didn’t know what to expect coming back here because I played here in 2010 and enjoyed the course. To finish in this position is amazing and I’m so pleased. I don’t think it’s really sunk in yet. A really solid week, very consistent and I’m really happy.

“I think I just hit it in the right places, had a target and holed a couple of putts on the front nine. I had three birdies in a row so it was really solid. I think the belief has always been there but now I know what I’m good enough to be out here and I know that I can do it and I’m really looking forward to Italy next week.”
