Brand Ambassador Tracy Higgs reviews the Jaki Polo Shirt
Our Ambassador Tracy Higgs reviewed the Jaki Polo Shirt recently. Here’s what she had to say about it.
How did you find the overall fit of this garment and would you like to see any changes to the fit or shape?
The garment is a very good fit and looks really smart on. The sleeves are ideal for Autumn and are long enough to stay in place when swinging a club, they don't ride up. The soft rib hem band and cuffs give it a smart casual look. This slightly longer style top keeps the lower back well covered and warm.
Do you like the fresh striped pattern? Are there any other colour mixes that you would like to see? Would you like to see this style in a plain design and if so, in what colours?
The fresh striped pattern is lovely and is very versatile for wearing many colour combinations. One particular plus is the white collar as this lends itself to being worn under any colour of sweater, but provides a nice 'pop' of colours when you take the sweater off! This style would also lend itself to a plain design in darker colours for Winter and almost any colour striped with white i.e. navy, black, red, pink etc etc for any time of year.
What are you thoughts on the fabric i.e. weight and feel. Did you wear this garment as a layer or on its own and was it more suited to wearing one way or another?
The fabric feels very soft against the skin and is nice and lightweight allowing for ease of movement. Being 100% cotton it is suitable for wearing on its own on a warm Autumn day or a cooler Summer day, or as an ideal layer garment as the cotton feels cool against the skin and there is no clammy feeling or clinging from the shirt.
This polo shirt is great for golf and leisure. Where did you wear yours? What did you wear it with?
A good addition to a golf or leisure wardrobe, the top looks very smart with black trousers or any of the colours featured in the shirt i.e. white, aqua and rose, plus it also lends itself to jeans for a more casual look for shopping, pub, outings, etc.
How did you feel after your game of golf in terms of comfort and ease of movement when wearing this garment?
This is a very pleasant top to play golf in and it looked fresh and crisp afterwards for a drink in the clubhouse. It kept me cool and allowed for ease of movement due to its lightweight material.

A lovely, smart, pastel coloured garment with scope for many uses as it is so comfortable to wear. It washed and ironed up well and certainly 'stood out in a crowd'.
