Our Ambassador Laura Hobson reviewed the Ayla Slipover in Blossom recently. Here’s what she had to say about it.
What do you think of the V Neck and is it comfortable? Is the depth of the V okay for you or would you prefer it to be cut higher or lower? Would you prefer a round neck?
The V Neck is great and my shirt fits comfortably under the V without it being too long or too short. I prefer this to a round neck.
This garment is available in White and Blossom (Pink). Do you like the colours? Are there any other colours that you would like to see this style in?
At last we have a sunny day and it's warm enough to dispense with long sleeves. The Blossom colour certainly brightens up the day and feels springlike!
Do you like the cable pattern? What other styles and design would you like on a slipover i.e. plain, stripes, cables, fairisle and argyle?
The cable pattern provides interest in the slipover without being fussy. If I choose to wear a patterned shirt or skirt/trousers it fits in easily with my outfit.
We feel this garment is great for on and off the golf course. Where did you wear yours? What did you wear it with?
I wore this with a navy skort on the golf course and on the patio afterwards while enjoying a glass of wine!
How did you feel after your game of golf in terms of comfort and ease of movement when wearing this garment?
The slipover is comfortable to wear and I particularly like the length which doesn't ride up when playing shots, bending down and walking. The armholes are perfect and don't pull when swinging the club.

I have never used a slipover before but it is a great addition to my golf wardrobe. It was slightly too warm for long sleeves but just a bit cool to have no top layer and this provided all that I needed to be comfortable on the golf course. The sizing is accurate and the length is perfect. The Blossom colour has certainly been noticed on and around the golf course. I will definitely be looking to add some sleeveless items to my wardrobe!
